The ELICA ceiling lamp is a lighting product suitable for interiors with a metal canopy and tubular structure manually painted with epoxy powder colors. Equipped with E27 bulb sockets, it has a height of 30 centimeters and a diameter of 60 centimeters. Elica, with a particular, captivating and contemporary design, is available in many single-color versions and, like all our lighting fixtures, can be customized according to the individual needs of our customers thanks to the “just in time” production of our company. 80% of Elica's components are replaceable in case of damage, in line with the eco-design legislation which came into force in September 2021. The Elica ceiling light is entirely made in our factories with 100% Made in Italy products and elements.
What materials is the Lumicom Elica ceiling light made of?
Elica is made entirely in our factories with 100% Made in Italy materials. The item consists of a ceiling rose and three metal tubes equipped with lamp holders with E27 bulb attachment.
The idea.
"With Elica we wanted to create a lighting product that would carry on, enriching it, in the starting concept with which we created Duetto." - The words of Giovanni Bortolan, Industrial Designer of WayPoint - “Also in this case the symmetrical shapes are the masters, however, leading to three different light points and as many light displays. In our continuous experimentation with shapes and plays of light, this lighting item was born which is enjoying great success both for the furnishing of domestic environments and for commercial activities of different types."
The processing.
Once the metal pipes arrive at the company, they are cut through an electric saw and bent by means of an automatic pipe bender to obtain the shape envisaged by the project. The tubes are then welded to the ceiling rose before moving on to the painting department where they are manually painted with epoxy powder colors. Finally, during the assembly phase, the three lamp holders with E27 bulb attachment are added. The work is completed with the packaging, produced and made with recycled materials and water colors in compliance with sustainability and the green philosophy of our company.
