TRIS is a lighting item suitable for interiors with a modern and elegant design. The geometric profile, with dimensions of 50X50X4 centimeters, makes the product effective for any type of furniture, both in the ceiling lamp version and in the suspension version. Tris is made with a metal box painted with epoxy powder and, in the suspended version, also with a ceiling rose, a transparent PVC electric cable and four steel support cables. TRIS is equipped with integrated LED strips, available in two different color temperatures: 3000K and 4000K. The first for a warmer light, the second for a whiter light. The product, available in the black, white and gray monochrome versions, can be customized according to the individual needs of our customers thanks to the “just in time” production of our company. 80% of Tris components are replaceable in case of damage, in line with the eco-design legislation which came into force in September 2021. Tris is made entirely in our factories with 100% Made in Italy products and elements.

What materials is Lumicom Tris made of?

The Tris suspension and ceiling lamp is made entirely in our factories with 100% Made in Italy products and elements. The product consists of a box and a geometric metal structure, the light diffuser in semi-opaque PMMA and is equipped with integrated LED strips, which can be replaced in case of damage. In the chandelier version, Tris is also composed of a metal canopy, a transparent PVC electric cable and four steel support cables.

The idea.

"Who has never played tic-tac-toe (tris in Italian) in their life trying to line up three crosses or three circles?" - the words of Philippe Baesso, Export Manager of Waypoint - "Tris was born from the desire to create a lighting item taking inspiration from the geometric lines of the famous pastime that accompanied us, and still accompanies us, in our moments of leisure. An article that combines the simplicity of geometric shapes with the originality that they give to the product both in the suspension version and in the ceiling lamp version."

The processing.

The metal plate that arrives in our warehouses is laser cut and folded through a bending machine to obtain the shape and size required by the project. In the next step our craftsmen take care of cutting the aluminum profiles to create the particular shape of the product. The raw product is then colored through the use of epoxy powder paint. Finally, the product is assembled with the integrated LED strips, the light diffuser, the PVC electric cable and the four metal support cables for the chandelier version. The work is completed with the packaging, produced and made with recycled materials and water colors in compliance with sustainability and the green philosophy of our company.
