The BOSTON lighting product family adapts perfectly to different uses, making it effective and furnishing both in the suspension version and in the ceiling lamp version. To do this, the product makes use of a rich arrangement of variants with one, two, three and four lights, called respectively S, M, L and XL. Rectangular in shape, it is therefore available in different sizes: 10, 25, 30 and 45 centimeters. Matt black, matt white, blue, green and red the five different colors to choose from. Like all our lighting fixtures, Boston can be customized according to the individual needs of our customers thanks to our company's “just in time” production. All Boston components are replaceable in case of damage in line with the eco-design legislation which came into force in September 2021.
What materials is lumicom boston made of?
The Boston ceiling and suspension lamp is entirely made in our factory with 100% Made in Italy products and elements. The product consists of a rectangular box in the ceiling version and with the addition of a rectangular canopy in the suspension version. Both the box and the canopy are made of metal and painted with epoxy powder. In both versions the box is equipped with a glass and socket for E27 lamp. The suspended version is equipped with a transparent PVC electric cable.
The idea.

With our product we wanted to celebrate a city and its baseball team by imagining that every light bulb in Boston is a ball ready to be thrown at Fenway Park. "
The processing.
The sheet of metal that will make up the box and the canopy, once arrived in the company, are laser cut at our factory, creating the pieces and lengths provided for by the project. After cutting, the sheet is bent, through a metal bending machine, before being colored by painting with epoxy powder. Finally, during the assembly phase, after assembling the internal pieces, the cup with the E27 lamp holder is added and the item is wired. The work is completed with the packaging produced and made with recycled materials and water colors in compliance with sustainability and the green philosophy of our company.
